A major oil and gas operator required specialist resources to mobilise to several of their offshore installations during an extended shutdown. This was to assist in the delivery of several integrated control and safety system related scopes.
We were engaged to manage multiple scopes simultaneous on multiple offshore installations.
Our Scope
Act as the commissioning authority on behalf of the client.
Manage the offshore execution of all integrated control and safety system related scopes, including the following key responsibilities:
- Witness and acceptance of all testing and commissioning activities.
- Actively managing performance to ensure schedule and quality requirements are achieved.
- Assist operations with start-up, perform controller tuning and process system optimisation.
- Ensure that a positive safety culture was maintained throughout the delivery of all scopes.
Result
Excellent teamwork ensured the safe and seamless transition of all scopes from commissioning to operations.
Significant improvements were realised across all assets including the optimisation of process operations following successful controller tuning.
